Arizona State Budget Includes $2 Million in Funding to Support the Arts

At MRA Associates we believe art sparks innovation and is critical for the economic vitality of our community.

It was recently announced that Arizona’s 2019 state budget includes a $2M allocation to fund the Arizona Commission on the Arts. Fortunately, the increase in funding for the arts community will not increase overall state spending. Mark Feldman, MRA managing partner and CEO, serves as Chair of the agency’s Governor-appointed board of Commissioners. Feldman states, “The arts are an economic driver, enhance the education of our young people, and create opportunities for dialogue and understanding among and within Arizona’s diverse communities. This funding will create, expand, and improve opportunities for Arizonans to engage in the arts across our great state. We are honored to serve as stewards of this public support.”
