Citywire USA’s Future 50 RIA
Rating/Ranking Disclosure
According to Citywire USA: Future 50 RIA candidates are ranked in terms of their independence, staff credentials, how much they manage their own investment practice, what percentage of their income is fee-based, how inclusive, diverse, and sustainably-minding the firms are, investment offerings/capabilities, and how much they have grown as a business in recent years. To be eligible for Future 50 RIA, firms must be SEC registered as registered investment advisors and have between $250 million and $2 billion(or slightly above) in the AUM threshold. The Future 50 RIA award is not designed to be a list of the biggest RIAs by AUM or those growing at the fastest rate.

Financial Advisor Magazine’s Top RIA Ranking
Rating/Ranking Disclosure
According to Financial Advisor Magazine: RIA ranking candidates are ranked by AUM of the previous year. To be eligible for FA’s rankings, firms must be registered investment advisors and provide financial planning and related services to individual clients. Firms with less than $50 million in assets will be published in an online national ranking on FA’s Web site, www.fa-mag.com.

Financial Times’ 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers

According to Financial Times: The FT 300 is based on data gathered from RIA firms, regulatory disclosures, and the FT’s research. The listing reflected each practice’s performance in six primary areas: Assets Under Management and Consultation; AUM growth rate; years in existence; advanced industry credentials of the firm’s advisors; online accessibility; and compliance records. This award does not evaluate the quality of services provided to clients and is not indicative of the practice’s future performance. Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to The Financial Times in exchange for inclusion in the FT 300.

AZCentral’s Top Companies to Work For In Arizona

According to Top Companies to Work For in Arizona: All participating companies completed a two-part assessment process conducted by the independent workplace research firm, Best Companies Group (BCG). Part one of the process was the Employer Questionnaire, where BCG asked about benefits, HR policies, and the fun things the employers do for their employees. Part two was the Employee Engagement and Satisfaction Survey which measured the employee experience in 8 core focus areas: Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communications, Role Satisfaction, Work Environment, Relationship with Supervisor, Training, Development, and Resources, Pay and Benefits, and Overall Engagement. Using the combined data from both parts of the survey process, BCG determined the top 125 organizations that made the grade.

According to Forbes: The data for the Forbes’ Best-In-State Wealth Advisors Ranking, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, as well as quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years’ experience. The algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience, and those that encompass best practices in their firms and their approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data.

Az Business Magazine’s Industry Leaders of Arizona
Rating/Ranking Disclosure
According to Az Business Magazine: Industry Leaders of Arizona (ILoA) focuses on five different industries each year. To qualify, the business/entity must be either headquartered in Arizona or have an Arizona-based CEO and CFO. The majority of the businesses or services provided must align with one of the yearʼs featured industries. Nominees must go through an application process and agree to have a data verification meeting with a representative from a designated accounting firm and other members of the ILoA Selection Committee. Entities can be publicly traded, privately held, or not-for-profit.
