J.T. Vandegriff is a Client Advisor with MRA Associates. In this role, he works with families, foundations, and institutions by helping them understand and achieve their financial goals. He provides investment advisory, financial planning, and other wealth management services to help clients successfully navigate their financial future.
J.T. began his career and enhanced his skills at JPMorgan’s Private Bank and CTC | myCFO, the multi-family office unit of Bank of Montreal. Most recently, he was Senior Investment Manager at BOK Financial – Bank of Arizona/ Bank of Albuquerque. In these roles, J.T. gained valuable experience in managing investment portfolios, conducting asset allocation studies, creating Monte Carlo based financial plans in order to quantity clients’ ability to accept risk, and identifying opportunities that add value to clients’ financial situations. He has been providing investment and wealth management advice to clients for over ten years.
He earned his Master of Business Administration with a focus in Global Finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2007. He graduated Cum Laude from Ohio University, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, International Business, and Business Economics. He is a CFA® Charterholder, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst®.
J.T. currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife and two boys. He enjoys sports, reading, and travel in his leisure time. In order to give back to his local community, he volunteers at his church, coaches Scottsdale Cal Ripken Little League, and serves on the board of Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona (BHGH). BHGH of Arizona helps academically capable and motivated children-in-need to meet their full potential and become respectful men and women for others by providing value-centered, family-like homes, opportunities, and education through college.
